Especially in large rooms and buildings, such as airport terminals, theatres or entrance halls, the acoustics are often extremely poor due to the reverberation of voices, motors or machines. This is why noise absorption is particularly important in such spaces. We have developed acoustic nonwovens that can solve exactly this problem. Our Safe-T-Sound product range is used as an optimal acoustic absorber in horizontal alignment in floating ceilings and suspended ceilings and in vertical alignment in ceiling panels.
All our Safe-T-Sound products are made of 100% polyester and are thermally bonded for high strength, preventing any sagging or collapse of the materials. This keeps them in shape for a long time and ensures high durability. At the same time, they are flexible and malleable and can thus easily be shaped into individual forms.
Due to the low weight, it is also possible to produce the acoustic panels in extremely large dimensions. The standard size of our Safe-T-Sound nonwovens is 1.20m x 1m. However, our production facilities are able to produce the absorbers in sizes of up to 2m x 2.75m - depending on customer requirements.
Safe-T-Sound products are easy to assemble (cutting, milling, embossing) and are available in thicknesses from 20 to 50 mm and a density from 20 to 80 kg/m³ in white, black and grey.
Unlike foams, no chemicals are used in the production of our nonwovens, so no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can be released later. By using 100% polyester fibers, the products are completely recyclable and thus save valuable resources. Our acoustic absorbers are resistant to both moisture and UV radiation.
Our products are also flame-resistant and behave well in combustion situations (according to DIN EN 13501-1), generating only low smoke emissions. Unlike foams, the surface of the acoustic nonwoven is insensitive to pressure and does not become brittle when pressure is applied.
Our acoustic nonwovens achieve excellent absorption values (up to alpha-w = 1.00) either alone or in combination with other nonwovens or other materials. To use them as decorative acoustic elements, our Safe-T-Sound products can be laminated, printed and surface-treated in many different ways. They can also be cut into customer-specific shapes.
