Did you know that the typical volume level in an office is around 70 dB? That is not much less than the noise caused by a jackhammer, which is around 100dB. This causes stress and leads to difficulties in concentrating. But workspaces should really be designed in such a way that they promote the ability to concentrate. This is why a functional and attractive design of rooms is so important.

Effective room division via partition wall systems, acoustic insulation through floating ceiling panel systems or suspended ceilings and the installation of wall panels and absorbers leads to noise minimization and excellent room comfort.

But also in everyday life, noises such as mobile phones ringing, voices buzzing or the rumbling of motors put a strain on our lives: a constant noise level accompanies us constantly and everywhere - whether on the street, at the train station or in the department store. Even within our own four walls, our place of retreat, we are often exposed to background noise. The TWE Group's wide range of acoustic nonwoven solutions allows you to sit back and relax anywhere, as our products can reduce noise pollution in many areas of your life.

The product range developed by the TWE Group for the acoustic insulation sector comprises two main applications: The Safe-T-Sound product line for acoustic insulation of walls and suspended ceilings and the Quiet Step product line for acoustic insulation of stone, wood or concrete floors.

Safe-T-Sound products are made of sound-absorbing materials that are suitable for sound insulation in partition walls as well as inside rooms to reduce reverberation. Safe-T-Sound is used in partition walls and suspended ceilings and contributes to noise reduction. These soft or rigid polyester materials are COV-free (A+), do not release any inhalable dust particles during use and retain their acoustic properties permanently. Longevity, healthiness and the fulfilment of the highest safety requirements are the hallmarks of our nonwovens, since they are easy to process, low-odor, flame retardant and resistant to moisture and UV radiation. As our products are also made of 100% polyester, they are recyclable and thus conserve valuable resources. The printing process also makes individual designs possible, enabling you to plan your rooms according to your wishes and ideas.

The Quiet Step product line offers acoustic insulation as a basis for glued or sliding floor coverings. Our nonwovens can be used on all types of floors - whether wood, concrete or stone. The materials can also be laminated with a film to protect wooden floors from moisture. Some Quiet Step products are also compatible with underfloor heating.

All products have excellent sound-absorbing properties and thus help to achieve excellent noise reduction. In addition, they correct irregularities and imperfections in the floor. The nonwovens are breathable, odorless and resistant to moisture and rotting: no mold growth can occur when using our products. Our products are also suitable for coating the back of carpets. Here they are known for their premium quality and are mainly used in high-quality and durable carpets. When used as impact sound underlay for PVC floors, our nonwovens prevent irregularities and defects in the floor from being transferred to the PVC flooring.
