Once again this year, the TWE TRI-TEAM participated in the world's largest triathlon in Hamburg. The triathlon team from the 3 TWE locations Emsdetten, Dierdorf and Creuzburg took part with 35 starters.

In addition to the sprint distance also some of the colleagues have started in the olympic distance, both as an individual starter or in the relay.

Our colleague Markus was there too. He had qualified for the World Cup in Nice only last year, when he was 2nd at Iron Man on Rügen 2nd in his age group. There he swam 1.9 km, cycled 90 km and ran 21 km - and all in less than 5 hours. In Hamburg he was able to prepare for his big competition in Nice in September.

But all other participants have also shown that the training in recent months has paid off. Many great placements were achieved.

Even when teambuilding and fun are the main focus at this event, everyone did their best for a good result.

This was of course celebrated in the evening at the team dinner and later on the Reeperbahn.
