On 10 November, as part of the 'GROSSES FORUM' business initiative, the 'Business Oscar', the Emsdetten company award 2016, this year went to the TWE Group in Emsdetten.

This prize is awarded every two years in two categories (companies with fewer/more than 25 employees) by a pan-regional jury, and goes to companies which, with their business idea, the marketing of their products using state-of-the-art technology, through family-friendliness, environmental protection and sustainability, raise themselves above other companies and stand out in particular.

The commendation for the award included the TWE Group's strong growth, its increasingly international presence, as well as its innovations and highly diversified product portfolio. Highlights such as the TWE sports programme, opportunities for part-time work, and an effective energy management system completed the picture.

Jörg Ortmeier (CEO of the TWE Group) accepted the award on behalf of the entire TWE team. As he emphasised in his acceptance speech, this is not an award that goes to the company's management, it has been earned by the entire 'TWE TEAM'. It is only with everyone's joint commitment that objectives can be achieved that such success is made possible.

We are therefore delighted to, figuratively speaking, pass this 'Business Oscar' to all TWE employees and so have displayed at the head office building in Emsdetten.
