In measuring success, we often look at turnover. But success should not just be reduced to turnover. A trust-based collaboration with customers and suppliers is often a far more accurate demonstration of the success of a partnership and the added value for both parties.

The TWE Group is the proud recipient of numerous awards that reflect exactly that. One of these is the ONTEX Award, which we received in 2014 in Rome as part of the 'supplier days'. ONTEX is a key partner of the TWE Group in the field of Acquisition Distribution Layer (ADL). ONTEX manufactures products such as baby diapers, feminine hygiene products such as tampons or panty-liners, as well as incontinence articles. Production takes place in a number of locations, including Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Algeria, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Australia, Russia, China and India. Selected from 200 suppliers, the TWE Group received the award in the category "excellence in customer services". The main criteria for this award are reliability of supply, customer service and the quality of the products. Another award, presented to us by the company Hästen Sängar, is the 'Supplier of the Year' award which we received in 2015. Hästens manufactures high quality beds, and is based in the small town of Köping. Only natural materials are used, and Hästens places particular emphasis on not using any synthetic products. TWE supplies a needled nonwoven made from a blend of cotton and wool in various grammages for multiple layers of the bed. We are delighted that Ronaldo, Roman Abramovich, George Clooney, as well as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sleep and rest on our materials.

But it is not just with our customers that we foster a partnership, collaborating with our suppliers is also very important to us. For example, in 2015 we received the 'Best Partner Award' from fibres manufacturer Huvis of Seoul, South Korea. Huvis is a manufacturer of staple fibres which was founded in 2000 as a joint venture between SK Chemicals and Sam Yang Corporation of Korea. The company has annual turnover of around €1 billion with a volume of approximately 750,000 tonnes of fibres. The TWE Group uses large quantities of Huvis fibres for a range of applications for products in the areas of Hygiene, Filtration, Automotive, Building and Living.

These awards underpin the confidence shown in the TWE Group by both its customers and suppliers. We work every day to increase the success of these partnerships.
